When we think about "haunted", the first association are abandoned houses, jails and cemeteries. However, there are many other places that are haunted throughout the world. One of those places are the roads on which there are more ghost stories than in some haunted houses. So, before you set off on a trip, let's see what are the roads that should be avoided? Road M6
According to some research, road M6 in England is one of the "most haunted" in the state. This road exist, in different forms, more then 2,000 years and it was used during the Roman occupation of England. Not surprisingly, there are lots of people who claim that they saw the silhouette of Roman soldiers along the road. There are also many reports of gruesome women hichhikers. All this is very creepy, especially if you find yourself there at night. Many drivers have claimed that they noticed some eyes that watch them from the bushes in the vicinity of Manchester, near the place where the gruesome mining accident occurred many years ago.
Tuen Mun road
This road is in Hong Kong and it is one of the main roads on the island. It is frequently used. However, this road not only used by living people, but also by the dead ... Many accidents occurred on this road and it is rightfully called one of the most dangerous roads in the world. The inhabitants blame the spirits for many disasters who suddenly appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the road. It all terrifies the drivers and the consequences are often fatal. What is even worse, it seems that as the number of accidents is increasing, the number of those who claim to have seen something unusual is also increasing.
Passage Stockbridge
This passage is in England near the M6 road. It is a small local road on which a number of unusual things have happened. One story says that one security worker saw a large group of children playing near the road on the video cameras. The strange thing was that it was late night and the children were dressed in some clothes that look very old. When the police came to the scene they found no traces of children. Also, employees who work at a local construction site swear that sometimes during the night they heard a of children singing, but there was nobody around. Strange events do not stop to occur here. Another security worker noticed a man on the camera who was dressed in monastic clothes and he was standing on the edge of a bridge. Of course, the police responded, but the "monk" wasn’t there. Another night, some people suddenly felt cold air even though the night was relatively warm. Suddenly, a figure of man appeared in the front of the car with no head and limbs. While in shock, they tried to start a car, but it did not respond to commands until the ghost was gone ...
Road Bloodspoint
Road Bloodspoint in Boone County, Illinois, is one of the more disturbing and dangerous places. There are many reported accidents and murders there. During the early years, a child was killed there when a train hit him. The road is known for its numerous suicides by hanging. One of the worst events that occurred is the massacre of an entire family. A bus full of children was in an accident on this road. It is also famous because of a witch who lived on a farm (which really existed once). Some drivers swear that during the clear nights, in the field, they noticed the farm by the road ... Among all these accidents and murders, there is a number of reported cases that children stopped some cars, that there were children's prints on their cars, and the drivers also reported strange sounds and lights in the trees.
Road A229
We will also mention England again where we have one more cursed road ... This time it is road A229 that goes from Kent to Sussex. Many drivers say that they have noticed a woman in a white dress that suddenly jumped in a front of their cars. When they finally managed to stop the car, just in front of the woman, she suddenly disappeared. Many believe that the woman is actually Judit Lang, who was killed on this road on her wedding day in 1965. However, it is not the only ghost that appeared in this area. It is also known for a story of a hitchhiker that appears near a famous pub. When someone would pick him up, he would tell a story of what is wrong in this world and what he will do everything to correct that. However, when you get him to his destination, he would simply disappearfrom your passenger seat and return to the starting point where he would look for new company ...
Road Kelly
In Ohioville, Pennsylvania, there is a strange road called Kelly and many unusual events happened there. He was surrounded by very dense and dark forest and urban legend says that animals in it suddenly became violent and angry and that they would attack many humans and other animals. People would very often hear strange sounds and see some lights in the forest. If you find yourself there the feeling is very strange .... Rumors are that people hold sectarian activities deep in the forest and that is why this road and the forest are considered cursed.
