The richest people who did not finish college ... Many of them have dropped out of studies, but it did not stop them to open a company and earn billions of dollars...

The most famous "student wannabe" is certainly Bill Gates, who is today one of the richest people in the world. One of the people who also made an impact was Steve Jobs, but unfortunately he passed away on the 5th of October 2011.
Bill Gates is more than a decade at the top of the list of the richest people. His father was a lawyer and his mother a teacher. He enrolled to Harvard in the fall of the 1973. After two years, he left the studies and created “Microsoft" with a childhood friend Paul Allen. Gates was named as the most successful people who had left college in Harvard. After more than 30 years (in 2007), he finally received an honorary doctorate at the university.
"They changed the world"
We also previously mentioned Steve Jobs. Had he remained in class, today you wouldn’t be able to enjoy Macintosh, iPod, iPhone, etc... Steve left the studies at the University of Ridge because of the difficult financial situation in which he was at that time. After that, he founded the companies "Apple", "Next Computer" and "Pixar".
Third on the list is Frank Lloyd Wright, America's most famous architect, who spent more time on designing projects than he learning about them. He enrolled to the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1886, but left after a year. He then moved to Chicago, where he worked with Louis Sullivan, who is considered the "father of modernism". After his death, he left us with more than 500 projects, including the Museum Solomon R. Guggenheim in New York.

The fourth on the list is Buckminster Fuller – an architect, a philosopher and an inventor. Interesting fact is that he was twice expelled from Harvard; first time he was unlucky, second time he left the university because of problems at home. After that his mission was to change the world with innovative inventions in the field of house and car designs.
Fifth place belongs to James Cameroon, the award winning director. He was born in Canada but moved with his family to California, where he studied philosophy at the University of Fullerton. After leaving the studies, he became a truck driver. After having watched "Star Wars", he decided to become a director, the field in which he was successful.
"From a carpenter to an Oscar"
Next on the list of "failed" students is Mark Zuckerberg. He designed the most famous social networking site "Facebook" in his room at college. The network was initially intended only for Harvard students, but the network's popularity quickly spread. After that he left the studies and created a company in Palo Alto.
In seventh place is the famous actor Tom Hanks, who left the studies because he wanted to participate in the festival "Theatre Great Lakes" in Cleveland.
He is followed by another actor - Harrison Ford, who studied philosophy at Ripon College in Wisconsin. He left college with only a few exams left to finish. After that, he acted in a few small roles and became a carpenter. Nearly ten years later, he got a role in the film American Graffiti directed by George Lucas. After that he got more roles in Lucas’s films, most notable the Star Wars Trilogy.
Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanota, better known as Lady Gaga, was a student in the "Monastery of the Sacred Heart", one of the oldest independent schools for girls in Manhattan. She left it because he wanted to start a career as a singer.

Last on the list is the highly paid athlete Tiger Woods, who left the studies of economics at Stanford University because he wanted to play professional golf. Today, he earns more than $ 100 million a year...
