A British designer has created the ultimate "toy for the rich" - the most expensive mobile phone in the world. Stewart Hughes’s Apple iphone 4 with is covered with diamonds costs a shocking five million pounds! The phone is covered with over 500 individual diamonds which weigh more than 100 carats. It comes with two additional diamonds that "fit" in the HOME key and you can change them whenever you want. One is 7.4 carats and the other a pink 8-carat diamond. Together, these two diamonds are worth over £ 4 million.
On the back of the phone there are 53 diamonds that make up the Apple logo. This phone was ordered by an unnamed Australian businessman, and not one, but two same models, so Stewart made them.
"This was really a huge challenge and I am impressed with the result – the phones look absolutely fantastic" - said Hughes.
Each phone comes in their separate boxes which are made of pink granite blocks, and they weigh just over 7 pounds. And to provide the best interior protection, the box is covered with the finest natural skin.
