Have you ever wondered what the most watched sport in the world is? Football? Basketball? NFL? Cricket? You do not need think about it anymore because this list will give you the answer to that question.

10. Boxing

Boxing is a combat sport where opponents fight using only their fists. It dates from the second and third millennium BC and it was very popular in Greek and Roman culture, when people were entertained with fights between humans and animals. The most famous boxer of all time is surely Muhammad Ali. Boxing is followed by over 2 million fans today.

9. Golf

Sport for the rich – that is how many people call it. It is the art of hitting golf balls with a rod, so that you put it into a correct hole. Golf course consists of 9 or 18 holes. It originates from Rome, China and Scotland, and over the years it has evolved into a much watched sport. Tiger Woods is an icon of this sport, that was, until his personal life interfered and plummeted his career.

8. Athletics

Athletics is a sport that consists of running, jumping, walking and throwing disciplines. It's cheap, and one of the most popular sports in the world. Its beginnings were in the 776th BC, and until today, athletics is an essential part of the Olympic Games. World Championships in Athletics had an audience of 8-9 million, and the most watched disciplines were the 100 meters and men's and women's high jump.

Basketball is followed by more than 2 billion people, mostly in the United States and Europe. NBA is the most popular basketball league, where the matches are so crowded that there is no seat left on a game. League itself has a viewership of about 1.5 to 2 million per game, while popular Draft has a viewership of about 12 million fans.

I love playing golf and we play almost on a weekly basis. I plan to buy a pretty nice golf club sets so that I could practice more and, who knows, I might join tournaments soon.

These are indeed the most amazing sports. There are online shops dedicated on selling merchandises on these sports like the afl store online which are very popular and has great sales because many people play them.
