Ordos City in China is a modern ghost town. Region Kangbasi, in which more than a million inhabitants were supposed to live, remains uninhabited for more than five years since the start of construction.

Construction of the Kangbasi regions started with the project in Ordos, which is located in the province of Inner Mongolia. Ordos’s main potential is big coal sites. Many things were built there: office buildings, administrative centers, government buildings, museums, theaters, sports facilities and residential areas. But there is one big problem: nobody lives in a city designed for more than a million people! Although the large part of the property has already been sold, Kangbasi area is still empty and uninhabited. People were supposed to start settling in 2010. There are only a few workers who work on something or clean the streets. It seems unreal and ghostly, but this is China!
