Interesting photos from the construction of the Empire State Building

Empire State Building is a skyscraper in New York which is 1250 feet high. It has 102 floors and 6500 windows and the building held the record as the highest building in the world in the period of 1931 - 1970. It was built in 1931 and it was named after the nickname of the state of New York. There were no expensive equipment and robots at the time when it was built. Everything was done by hand. Here are some interesting and somewhat frightening pictures of the building, which is currently the highest building in New York.

These are amazing photos indeed. It's good to see some of the constructing photos from the past. If cement mixer and concrete pump were already present during that time, I'm sure that those people wouldn't had to do any kind of construction before by hands. Present workers are lucky to have those innovative tools, making their jobs lighter and a little easier.
