In his own words, a Dutch brewer made the strongest beer in the world: with 60% alcohol. "You do not drink it like other beer. Instead you drink it as a short drink from small classes in small quantities" - said the Dutch brewer Jan Nijboer.
Nijboer’s brewery, called "Cooled Vessel", sells this beer called "Start the future" at a price of 35 euros (45 $) for a bottle of 0.33 liters. He also held one of the previous records with a beer called "Obliks" which contains 45% alcohol. It was knocked off the first place by a Scottish beer with 55% alcohol.
"All this started as a little competition by a few people with a desire to make the strongest beer" - said Jan. “Now has already become an international competition with great media attention", he added.
