The Great Blue Hole in Belize - The Deepest Hole in the Sea

If you ever pass by the coast of Belize, you should not miss the opportunity to visit The Great Blue Hole which is one of the world's natural wonders. It is located about 95 kilometers from the city of Belize. It is believed that this is the deepest hole in the sea. It is about 125 meters deep, and it has a diameter of approximately 300 meters. It was created because of a rise in the sea level which happened about 65,000 years ago.

It is almost completely circular and it is very popular among tourists who often visit this place. It is known that there are many caves in this place. This place also attracts divers because a large number of rare animal and plant species can be found there.
