5 Weird Car Accidents

Unfortunately, accidents do happen often, both on our roads, and everywhere in the world ... Here's a collection of 5 really "weird" collisions.

Car against a building

A taxi driver from Tunisia ended up in a truly amazing pose after his car jumped off the curb. Let's hope it did not take a loan for the car...

Jeep against an aircraft

The plane collided with a jeep shortly after it took off from the Johannesburg Airport in South Africa. There were three people in the car and two in the airplane and amazingly, everyone was unharmed.

Car against a pool

Now this is a nice way to crash a pool party! The driver lost control and ended up on a pool party, which was held in a small town in Brazil.

Truck against a truck

A truck driver from the USA had fallen asleep while driving and when he woke up and had something to see – was it a nightmare or reality?

Car vs car

Believe it or not, this photo was not done in Photoshop. This incident occurred in Beaverton, Oregon in the United States. The driver of the car at the top hit the other from behind, pushed both of them into a canal where it flipped over and ended up as in the picture...??? Strange, isn’t it?

Meet Darius - The World's Biggest Rabbit

Rabbits are cute little animals ... ok, until something goes terribly wrong. Darius was once a sweet little rabbit, but now he known as the biggest rabbit in the world and now we cannot say that he is so cute...

The more astonishing fact is that the rabbit has only 12 months and that there is a chance that he will grow even more.

It is not easy to feed him because he eats a dozen carrots, about two pounds of apples, and two cabbages during the day. At the moment, he is 48 pounds heavy and 4.2 feet long.

The Most Dangerous Roads of the World - Part 1

1. "Road of Death" in Bolivia

"North Jungas" is a road that can be called, without hesitation, the most dangerous road in the world. It is located in the Bolivian Andes, 43, 5 miles from La Paz, towards the city of Koroik., It is 2, 1 miles long and it has extreme curves and a 2624 feet deep chasm. Fatal accidents occur almost every two weeks, and about 100-200 people per year die here. In 1995, this road officially claimed the title of “the most dangerous in the world."

Along the road you can find the remains of the recent (and older) accidents. The road is mainly used by buses and heavy trucks, as this is the only one in this region. Unfortunately, this is also a very busy road as there are constantly many vehicles on it. The fog that rises above the lush tropical vegetation only makes the conditions for driving worse. To make things even worse, the tropical climate makes the road to slowly erode.

2. The Russian - Siberian Route to Yakutsk

This is the official and only highway to Yakutsk. Since there are no other roads drivers are forced to break through the mud (if it is possible), or to wait in a 62 miles long line to pass... When the rains are heavy, the road becomes just impassable ... and the nearby villages remain cut off for days and months from the world...

3. The Russian - Georgian Military Mountain Road

This road leads through the Caucasus Mountains, but fortunately there isn’t much traffic on it. You can sometimes run into a drunk driver and he is a risk if you meet him on the road ... but that is pretty much typical for the mountain roads, isn’t it?

The Grand Canyon from a Bird's Eye View

The Grand Canyon in Arizona was created by the Colorado River. It is located in the Grand Canyon National Park, one of the first national parks in America. President Theodore Roosevelt wanted to preserve the Grand Canyon area, which he visited many times and enjoyed in its beautiful nature while he was hunting.

Grand Canyon is 277 miles long and wide from 4 up to 18 miles. In some places it reaches a depth of 1.1 miles. Scientists are still in a debate on how long did it take for the canyon to form. They presume that it is at least 17 million years old. From that time, the River Colorado keeps changing the form of the canyon. It is still going on today.

Before the European migration, the area was inhabited by American Indians who built villages along the canyon. Supposedly, the first European who saw the Grand Canyon was the Spaniard García López de Kardenas. He got there in 1540.
