Gorgeous Guoliang Tunnel Road in Chinese Mountains

In our article about the most dangerous roads in the world, we mention some of the roads that truly endanger the lives of drivers ... On this occasion we present roads that do not endanger the lives of the driver so much, but certainly require a great level of concentration while driving.

One of the interesting roads is in the Chinese mountains, which was built by Chinese peasants and has an interesting story about its origin:

"Before 1972. there was only a small track that passes through the mountains and which connected the local village with the rest of the world. Then the residents decided to dig a tunnel through the mountains. Led by Shen Mingxin, head of the village, the residents decided to sell most of their personal property and buy appropriate equipment to penetrate the Rocky Mountains. The thirteen strongest villagers began the project. It took them about 5 years to finish a 0,7 mile long tunnel that is in some places wide from 13 to 16 feet. Some of the locals even lost their lives during construction, and the road was officially opened on May 1, 1977."

The wall of the tunnel is uneven and consists of more than 30 "windows" of different sizes and shapes. Some of them are round, some square, and sizes range from a few feet up to 30 feet.

Pasubio (Vicenza), Northern Italy

Drunk Santa Claus stole a car and crashed after one mile

Radivoj S, 21 year old young man, was drunk driving in a costume of a Santa Claus in a small town of Mol in Serbia. He managed to crash it, and destroy it completely after just one mile.

According to the Kikinda Police Department, Santa Claus was seriously injured and he was urgently transferred to the Clinical Center in Novi Sad.

Radivoj was giving away presents from early morning together with 30 of his co-workers in Mol. The project was financed by the Municipality of Ada. It is likely that the "grandfathers" drank a little alcohol during their routes...

While he was going home, around 4 o'clock in the afternoon, Radivoj saw the car "stojadin" which stood on the road. The owner wasn’t near, so he decided to shorten his path to the house. However, alcohol did its part and after driving one kilometer, he smashed into a house and completely destroyed the car ...

The place where Nessie lives ... Lake Loch Ness in Scotland

Loch Ness is a large and deep freshwater lake in the Scottish hills that is located about 22 miles southwest of Inverness. It stands at 50 feet above sea level, and Loch Ness is best known for the alleged, “Loch Ness monster", also known as Nessie. In some places it reaches a depth of 755 feet and the only deeper lake is Loch Morar. It contains more fresh water than all lakes in England and Wales combined.
