There is nothing better than a rush of adrenaline when you drive a fast motorcycle. This list contains the 10 best and fastest motorcycles which you can buy.

10.  Ducati 848

This monster was made in 2007 as a substitute for the older model Ducati 749.  The engine is massive. It has 849 cubic inches, with 4 valves per cylinder and 6 gears. It can reach a top speed of 255 kilometers per hour, with power of 100 kW at 10,000 rpm.

9. Aprilia RSV4

Aprilia RSV4 has a V4 engine, 999.6 cc and reaches a maximum speed of 281 kilometers per hour. With the power of 132 kW at 12 500 rpm and 6 gears this motor  is the successor to the older model Aprilia RSV 1000 R, and can really make you feel like you are riding the winds.

8. Suzuki gsx-r1000

This superbike was presented in 2001. It is powered by a 999 cc engine whose capacity is deployed on 4 cylinders with 142 kW at 12 000 rpm. Top speed is around 297 kilometers per hour. To stop this massive motorcycle there are double disk brakes in front and plain in the back.

7. Yamaha YZF R1

YZF R1 was introduced in 1998 and it raised the whole class to a new level. The engine has four cylinders and 20 valves, and reaches the output of 128.2 horsepower at 10,000 rpm. It has 6 gears and a maximum speed of 300 km / h.

6. Ducati 1198R

Introduced in 2009, this is the successor to the 1098 model. It has a volume of 900 cc, and four valves on both cylinders. Engine develops 134 kW at 9750 rpm, which can easily reach up to 297 km / h.

5. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14

Presented at the show in Tokyo in 2005 , this model is the top of Kawasaki models. Engine capacity is 1352 cc, 4 valves per cylinder achieve a maximum speed of 297 km / h (which is electronically limited). Motor accelerates from 0-100 km in 2.5 seconds which is incredible.

4. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R

This bike is a successor to the ZX-9R. It has a narrow chassis, low weight and radial brakes. It has an infamous statistics: this is a motorcycle that has been the target of thieves in the world the most times, and also this bike has the highest number of reported accidents when it comes to motorcycles. That puts him to the 4th place on our list. Powered by a diesel engine with 998 cc, four-cylinder and 4 valves in each, it easily reaches a top speed of 300 km / h. It has 147 kW and makes 12 500 rpm.

3. Suzuki Hayabusa

The design of this bike is connected to the Japanese Grey Hawk, and justifiably occupies the third place our list. It was presented in 1999, when Hayabusa dethroned Honda CBR 1100XX as fastest production motorcycle in the world. With an engine of 1340 cc, 4-cylinder 16-valve, Hayabusa can "fly" at a speed of 303 kilometers per hour. With its 197 horse power engine at 6750 rpm, the Japanese "Peregrine Falcon" deserves to be respected.

2. Suzuki GSX-R750

Although the Suzuki has a volume of "only" 750 cc, it reaches the maximum speed of 306 km / h thanks to the aggregate of 110 kilowatts at 13 200 rpm. This model has a great design and is one of the most powerful, cleanest and most efficient bikes.

1. MTT Turbine Superbike Y2K

This bike is a product of a pure genius. This is the second model that the factories Ted McIntyre of Marine Turbine Technologies Inc. released. "Heart" of this motorcycle is the Rolls Royce Allison 250 turbo engine that produces a massive 320 horsepower. Maximum speed of this bike is a frightening 365 kilometers per hour, but more frightening is the price, which in the USA reached a stunning $ 150,000. The motorcycle was recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as the "strongest production motorcycle" and "The most expensive serial motorcycle." It doesn’t have speed limit, and can be driven as fast as the engine allows it.
